What we did

Andy Crane Transport asked us to create the second iteration of their website earlier this year. We had already built the previous version, so we had a well-established working relationship with Andy.

We began by working closely with him to define the goals for the new site and how best to achieve them. This included a review of competitors and a focus on the business’s key selling points, such as being FORS certified and an Amazon Preferred Carrier. We also wanted to modernise the design and improve how the company presents itself to prospective clients.

Our team assisted with refining the copy and provided guidance for the photo shoot to ensure the images matched the new site’s structure and messaging.

Working with Andy, we developed a new design and iterated on it until he was completely satisfied with the final result.

Brendan has done a wonderful job for us, the Mill Hill University of the Third Age, in NW London, with 850 members. He created a dynamic, very attractive and most functional website, allowing us to do away with paper membership applications and renewals by installing an online application and payment process. Furthermore, we now have an excellent maintenance agreement with him that provides back-up for the basic site editing facility that we can manage ourselves, thanks to the excellent tutorial videos that he provided to allow us some D.I.Y.
