History in the making, Grayhound

Grayhound Lugger Sailing
Grayhound website at launch

We very excited about our ongoing collaboration with Grayhound Lugger Sailing. Marcus and Freya embarked late 2010 on an amazing journey to build Grayhound.

They had a very specific concept in mind for their site. The Grayhound has a fantastic history and they really wanted this to be part of the site while still providing relevant and current information. We worked hard with them to convey the message exactly as they wanted it and deliver the functionality they needed.

The site uses Wordpress as a content management system to allow easy content management. It also has an online store where you can buy Grayhound memorabilia and sponsorship.

Testimonial:

Arctic Online Website Designers recently worked on a website for our business. The service that we received was very professional. We wanted to have a lot of say over how the website was designed. This can of course be hard for the website designer as they had to continually liaise with us, the clients, and change aspects of the site on a daily basis when we asked.

We really enjoyed working with Arctic Online. Brendan was our project manager and was so patient with us, he managed from a different country to put together a website that conjured up all we wanted regarding aesthetics and efficiency.

We always felt involved and in control

When the website was launched, we were not left to cope with the running of the site. Brendan talked us through how to manage our new site and gave us video and online tutorials to help us.

We highly recommend this company and the feedback that we are receiving about our new site is that it navigates well and looks fantastic.
brendanpiater.com - blog and PR platform

This blog and related site was build for our Project Leader, Brendan Piater.

The site has two primary objectives. To provide a platform for Brendan to post articles related to his work with Internet technologies and conservation, and to provide useful information like work experience for people wanting to know more about Brendan on a professional level.

The site also has strong social media hooks which pull in all Brendan's social media posts onto the website too.

Mouseholesalon.com
Terri opened her natural therapy and beauty salon in the stunningly beautiful traditional fishing village of Mousehole.

She wanted a website that gave her business exposure to local residents but also holiday makers planning a trip to the coast.

The website makes use of the powerful Wordpress platform to enable Terri to easily manage the content on her website, write articles for her blog and connect social media with her website.

traylbodywork.com - already generating business

Trayl, a highly trained manual therapist and lecturer, needed a website to present his training videos and instructional articles online.

We built him a platform that allows him to easily add content to his blog on a regular basis, including instructional video and images. The site also provides information related to the courses Trayl teaches.

The website makes use of the powerful Wordpress CMS and Youtube for video hosting.

Metlife Mall website

Metlife Mall, the largest regional shopping mall in it's province, needed an online presence to promote the mall to local and new visitors to the town. The new website coincides with a large new extension to the mall and aims to provide the community with important information and help keep shoppers informed.

The website makes use of the powerful open source content management system Wordpress, allowing the Metlife Mall Team to easily manage their content.

Powerful e-commerce solitution for awitchintime.com
Alice's vision for her website was to provide an online store where folks could purchase products for their home that would help them to get the feeling of bringing a bit of outdoors indoors.

We worked with Alice to create a website that was not only functional and that was driven towards products sales, but also a site that conveyed some of the spirit of the season.

The project delivered a full e-commerce solution to the client, including full payment, shipping and order management integration.

Bigconkers.com

Bigconkers is a community website for “Shedheads” as the members call themselves. If you ever seen “Robot Wars” on television then you seen some of their work but the site caters for all types of projects that people might build and want to share with others.

The website allows community members to upload projects including images and video. Members can then interact in a discussion around each project. There is a full discussion forum too that allows the community to discuss other topics.

How To Catch A Fish

Ross needed a partner to publish the book he'd written and he asked Arctic Online to help.
We assisted Ross with the set-up of his book copy, adding all the artwork for the book by Cornish artist Timothy Hall and formatting the book for print and electronic distribution.
We built the website to help promote and sell book to include community and social media features so as to nurture a flourishing community of new and experienced fisherman allowing them to share stories and knowledge.
